All versions of
TaxSimple, A Thomson Reuters Company allow you to prepare your tax return free of charge.
TaxSimple, A Thomson Reuters Company charges you money when you efile and/or print.
There is no charge when you efile and/or print using Basic Version. When you efile and/or print using Deluxe version, you pay $27.95.
When you efile and/or print using Premier version, you pay $49.95.
TaxSimple.com formats the information you provide and transmits
the formatted information to the IRS, but you are responsible for the completeness
and accuracy of your tax form. You should review your tax return for completeness
and accuracy before submitting the tax return for electronic filing. If you need
tax advice, you should consult with a professional tax advisor concerning your specific
tax situation.
TaxSimple.com does not guarantee that your electronically filed
tax return will be accepted by the IRS. If the IRS rejects your electronically filed
tax return, you are responsible to make corrections of your information and to either
resubmit your electronically filed tax return to the IRS or to manually file a paper
tax return. TaxSimple.com will not charge any additional fees when
you make corrections and resubmit your tax return to the IRS. You are responsible
for filing your tax return or obtaining an extension to file before any deadlines
such as April 17th, August 15th, or October 16th. You are responsible for verifying
that the IRS has accepted your electronically filed tax return. You can verify the
status of your e-filed tax return by simply logging in to TaxSimple.com
48 hours after you have finished preparing and e-filing your tax return.
