My credit card was charged, but
my return was not accepted by the IRS. Will I be charged again
when I re-file?
|
|
It is TaxSimple's policy to charge your credit card one time per accepted return
based on Social Security Number. This charge will be made after the initial transmission.
If the initial transmission is not accepted by the IRS, your credit card will still
be charged, and you will be allowed to re-file your return again after making the
appropriate changes needed for no additional charge. If an additional charge is
made to your card and you feel this charge is in error, please verify that the second
charge relates to the same Primary Social Security Number, and call TaxSimple to
report the error. After verification, adjustments will be made, and your card will
be credited for the amount in error.

If I e-file, does anything need
to be sent to the IRS?
|
|
TaxSimple supports five digit PIN/Date of Birth and Last year's AGI authentication
for your tax return. TaxSimple will prompt/help you with this information. If you
supply this information, you do not have to file Form 8453. It replaces
the need for a signature. If no PIN Authentication id used, then you must file the 8453 with the appropriate IRS facility named in the 8453 instructions.
If you have filled
some specific forms like – Form 8858, Form 8332, Form 3468, Form 3115, Form 5713, Form 1098C, Form 8885, Form 8864, Form 4136,
Schedule D-1, Form 2848. Then you have to mail 8453 form and all above forms which you have filled send it to IRS.

Is it helpful if I use TaxSimple
every year?
|
|
TaxSimple is even easier to use after your first year with us because you will be
more familiar with the program, but more importantly we hope to use your previous
year's return in the future to fill out as much current information as possible,
allowing you to focus your time on the pertinent portions of the return, while we
take care of the mundane.

return, should I close the browser?

F6 while in a form, selecting the first choice at the top, enter the SEQ into the
white text box, and clicking on Find Next. Press Cancel and your cursor will be
